Give Advice to help me make my dream come true?

My dream is to be an actor/model and i get these feeling that it wasn't meant for me then again i really want it, i been wanting to be an model/actor for a long time but got no where, what should i do?Give Advice to help me make my dream come true?
Come to LA if you dont live here, or you can just audition for small parts then keep getting major roles. There are websites where you can post your resume for director, etc. to see. Best of look!!!! I think the first thing, is you should ask yourself WHY you want to be an actor or model?





Is it for the attention? You want people to love you?


You want adoration? You feel that people giving you attention for your looks validates you in some way?





Because the fact is, acting and/or modeling is a hell of a lot of OTHER THINGS, and not much of those things.





I don't know a lot about modeling (other than I've known a few models, and they get insulted a LOT while they're working, so you have to have thick skin...).





Actors... I've done some acting and I'm an independent filmmaker.


And I can't tell you how many girls want to be actors for the reasons I stated above, but will not even show up to a rehearsal!!!


Acting is about ACTING. It is damn hard work, and you have to be into THE PROCESS, much more than the result.





I suggest taking every legitimate acting class in your area, getting into plays, theater, school drama classes, etc.


If you don't like that idea, and what you really want to do is just be 'a movie star' then you are doing it for the wrong reasons, and won't get very far because of that.
You can join some casting or model competition.
