Need some help, advice, and inspiration from strangers?

I found out that I did not get into a PhD program that I applied to, yet I still need to finish my masters. So, for the next few months I need to complete my masters, which includes finishing course work and my thesis. But, I have no drive, desire, or motivation to complete my work. It still is important for my career to build my knowledge, but, I just don't care anymore. Any advice?Need some help, advice, and inspiration from strangers?
You are disappointed because you did not get into the PhD program.


That's understandable.


However, you need to pick yourself up and continue with your Masters...look how much you already have invested, you are almost done. You can not just give up anytime something doesn't work out for you...that's life. Apply again the next time the program becomes available.


In todays job market a Master will out-weight a Bachelors anytime.

find something FUN and ADDICTIVE to do (hopefully something safe) it will take ur mind off it and help you continue with a positive state of mind, if it isnt going anywhere just leave it for a minute and play some music or somthing ^_^
