You're less than a year for completion if you aren't particular about the degree major.

Look at 'The Big Three' liberal arts/general studies programs

http://www.excelsior.edu

http://www.cosc.edu

http://www.tesc.edu

Each of these three are generous with transfer credit and have very flexible degree requirements.Hi,I need help with advice of how to finish my bachelor degree.this is the situation- I have a AAS degree ?
You're golden! Schools might vary a bit, but mine requires 128 credits for a BA or BS, so you're less than a year away! I would look at the makor requirements at your college, and choose one that can make use of most of the courses you've received credit for already. I would recommend going to school in person, rather than online; you worked hard for that degree, and it'll look better for you to finish it in person.

Here's a link to the majors requirements for my school; each will vary, but this will give you a general idea of majors to look into, and living in California you've got a HUGE number of schools at your disposal.

Can you help me with some dog advice for a new dog owner?

I got a dog! He is 10 months old. So cute, already very attached to me. This is part of my problem. I have only had him for 3 days and already he goes so nuts when he sees me after just even 5 minutes of being out of the ROOM that he'll jump around and flip out. Sometimes he even wets himself a little. I know that this is anxiety, how to help it?Can you help me with some dog advice for a new dog owner?
This is puppy all the way! Ignore him when you walk into a room, do not even look at him. Once he's calm and quiet, then gently acknowledge him with a pat and a few kind words. He will learn that is that behavior you desire. Have fun!Can you help me with some dog advice for a new dog owner?
Welcome to world of the new dog owner. Your dog's reaction is normal and healthy! Dogs are pack animals and as the leader of your dogs 'pack', he is just excited to see you. He will eventually calm down the longer he is with you. You can be stern but go easy on it as you don't want to curb some of his enthusiasm. Go slow and have fun!
if you acknowledge puppy, don't talk baby talk.... soft voice, firm if needed. after a while he'll grow out of this.....

the wetting is just excitement in seeing you.... our mini dachsund does this occasionally.

Be Blessed!
Just ignore him when he is going nuts and praise him when he is calm, also give him lots of exercise. A tired puppy is a good puppy!

What should I do? Your advice???? HELP!?

Due to recent job loss, I am having to move out of state and I am unable to take my household items/furniture/barbie collection/TV's and other items with me. I want to get the best value I can for my items and I am faced with either having a huge moving sale or having an auction service take everything. Since this is the weekend before Christmas and I live in Northern Michigan, I don't know how a moving sale would work and since I live in an apartment, I would have to open my home up for everyone to pick through. I am planning on leaving in one week, and I don't know what I should do. One auction place offered me a buyout for $900 for everything, but that's almost giving my stuff away. The other auction place will pick up everything and hold an estate sale in January, and after thier 30% cut, I get the rest, and they do have a good reputation according to the Better Business Bureau. I feel I would get a better value, but I hate leaving my stuff behind. Any advice??What should I do? Your advice???? HELP!?
This is a tough one. I recently lost my job and me and my son had to move in with my parents, they have no room for my stuff so I had to put it in storage...but I understand it is hard to put stuff in storage with no money because of no job. So I sold some of the stuff like my bedroom set and mostly big stuff so I could afford a small storage unit. I sold to friends so it went fast. I thought of ebay but it takes a few days for people to bid then a few for them to send money then you have to worry about shipping and all that. Try the local paper too. Hope everything works out for you..God BlessWhat should I do? Your advice???? HELP!?
That's a tough one. You might want to try the local paper with an ad that states the type of items you have for sale (since time is of the essence) and have people call for a price on a group of items (let's say all your Barbies) or for individual items. There are a lot of collectors who check the paper frequently, also, there are many people who need furniture and will call to ask if you have something they're looking for..... Good luck!
Decide what you want take pictures, and put it on craigslist and give a price for just buying it all.
if you can't sell everything right away then rent a storage area until you figure out what to do with your stuff.
Put it in storage or let the stuff go to auction remember used stuff is worth about 20 % of new value and that may be to high
well it,s not good either way but you must do what you can see yard sells are a cheap way to buy things and in a way a auction is to.my nephew,s mother got a good couch for $20.00.if i was you i would go with the second auction place
Try calling an Estate Sale Person instead of an auction place. You get better prices on your stuff. I would sell the barbie collection or any other valuable collection on e-bay. Dealers are the people shopping at auctions mostly and they have to make a profit on your stuff when they buy it, so they try to pay as little as they can. Unless you can have an Estate Sale at your home! It may be to late, but a smaller estate dealer could pull it together in a couple days and have a sale for you this weekend! I'm in MO and the market here is not very good. We have a hard time moving furniture and smalls right now. Even the antiques are going for a song, so don't expect much on the dollar compared to what you paid for it. Best of luck on your sale and move!
Either way you're not going to get to do what you really want or feel comfortable with. So, I would go with the 2nd choice since they have a good reputation thru the BBB. Sounds like you would get a better value thru them %26amp; January isn't that far away. It'll be here before you know it.
That really isn't much time. But estate sales are very common and reliable. My suggestion is, (if it is possible financially) to place your items in a storage facility for a month or two until you can be there for the sale of the items. A small storage facility. for ex: 5x10 is inexpensive monthly. Just be sure the facility is in good shape and there is no water leakage, etc. Good luck to you.
Put it in heated storage and come back and get it when you can. No one will give you a great price for your good because you need to get rid of them so fast.
E-Bay/ or halw it
sounds like your choice is already made.

you did a good job-checking it all out.

get a written inventory of the items and a contract on them

Depending on the items, I would give away the stuff you know that others will love and you can donate the furniture to charity for a writeoff and the ';sale'; items send to the auction house.

The rest will just go to charity anyway. So start sorting now.

Good luck.
Start selling some things yourself right now. Personally, I don't care for EBay. I have had good luck on craigslist and my local paper where you can post ads online for free.

An ongoing moving sale isn't so bad, but box up and store what you know you can't part with.

Lastly, after using the above suggestions, let the auction place you feel comfortable with sell the rest.
My advice is to just maybe sell some of your better stuff on ebay, or go with the place that will sale the things in janurary, but if you do want to just get your money's worth, why don't you try to sell them for a good price on ebay

    Hi,

I need help with advice of how to finish my bachelor degree.

this is the situation- I have a AAS degree in Architecture from Israel. after sending my diploma to a ECE evaluation, I receive 104 semester unit credits.

contact the area universities and see what they say.

My friend found out her parents do drugs and she needs advice. How do I help her?

My best friend found out her parents smoke pot and snort cocaine...which is very unusual because they aren't the type AT ALL to ever do that. She's crying and she needs my help. How do I help her? How can she get her parents to stop? What should I be guiding her to do and how should she be handling this?

    Please help me out! Thanks.

-SamMy friend found out her parents do drugs and she needs advice. How do I help her?
I personally believe that smoking pot isn't that big of a deal, and i know plenty of adults who smoke cannabis regularly. I would not worry that her parents smoke pot!

Cocaine on the other hand is a different matter all together, my personal belief is that its bad and should not be done, HOWEVER i also know adults who occasionally do cocaine and they are very nice people.

I think ultimately it depends on how her parents react when doing cocaine, if it effects them negatively and they become abusive or it causes other problems then i think it is quite a bad thing.

BUT as you said, they aren't the type to do that, meaning you would not know unless they told you because it does not effect them in a bad way, it seems like although cocaine is known to be a very bad drug, some people have no problem with it and merely enjoy themselves whilst under the influence of it.

The mother of one of my ex girlfriends used to smoke cannabis and take cocaine, and she was a very nice woman who i got on with very well!

I would tell your friend not to worry if there are no problems coming from their use of cocaine. Certainly tell her not to worry about the fact they smoke pot!

Hope this helps a littleMy friend found out her parents do drugs and she needs advice. How do I help her?
She must stay out of it. It's an adult matter, and nothing to get hysterical about in an adult. The best thing she can do is not follow in their footsteps: cocaine in particular is a harmful, addictive drug.
