Hey I need som advice can you help me out here?

I need advice on getting tattoos. I have been wanting to get one for the last two years but I have not decided on what I wanted yet. I mean Im 19 a female and I am open to just about anything.Hey I need som advice can you help me out here?
I didn't know what I wanted to get until about 5 minutes before sitting in the chair. I just walked in and looked through a book. I ended up getting my own sort of design- the same design twice, one backwards from the other, to form a ';broken wings'; effect above my chest. (It was a Celtic design put on its side, but I don't know its symbolism- just thought it was pretty).

Don't feel bad about not knowing what you want. The people at the tattoo parlor may even just let you come in, open the book and have a look through, then come back another day to get it done. But choose something individual that no one else has, if you can.

My other tattoo is on my back shoulder- it's a fairy, from the thighs up, with jewelry. I only had a certain amount of money on me that day so some of the jewelry had to not be tattooed on, in the end. But that means it's definitely uniquely mine that way.

Good luck!Hey I need som advice can you help me out here?
if u still havent desited maybe its not 2 b b-sides when u get old it will look like a bruse and it will look ugly :)
dreamcatcher.
my best advice is to wait until you for sure know what you want. I have 4 tats and each one i hung up on my wall so i could see it every time i woke up. after about 3 months if i still liked it i would get it...

try getting something meaningful to you

contact mellissa and ask her opinions. i know her and i have no tats, my hubby has a small one. she can give you info and advise.
well what do you like? if you like the night, then maybe a moon, or stars, or if you like other things, try and pick one of those.
i say get one that covers your whole body like a zebra.....those are cool.

(you said anything)
I would go with something small and simple. Not to exaggerating, it does not look to nice on females.
It really needs to be something that means something to you. Don't get one just to get one! Try designing one yourself.
Go to a tatoo place and see what they have or think of something you really like. most tatoo places can draw it just by youtelling them. Thats if they are a good one.
I was in ur shoe a few weeks ago, but i decided not, what i did was to see where the idea and the meaning behind it was. plus what i came up with frighten me........especial the part where it says some people skin type can have an alergic reaction to the ink use in doing a tatoo and even the needle used can have bad effects to your skin. so basically you have to make that decision on your own, ask yourself

Why am i interested in getting a tatoo?

Am i doing so because my other friends have ?

Am i ready to deal with the consequences that may result?

What about the aftermath of getting a tatoo, will i still like?

Do i really want a permanent symbol on my body?

What if my interest changes?

Do I really NEED a tatoo?

Think about it

All the best
get wings those are always cool and hot on a girl without being slutty
I got a memorial tattoo for my grandfather

but that is just me
You should think very long and hard about this. Tattoos are permanent. That means that they cannot be removed. You should be VERY sure that you REALLY, REALLY want one before you get one. If you are in a relationship, you should find out how the other person feels about your getting a tattoo before you go and get one. He may detest them. Tattoos are not cool or hip. If you want to change your appearance try something like getting a new hairstyle or lightening your hair or having your hair frosted or maybe trying a whole new shade. You should have any of this done by a professional. Also, if you are tired of the way that you look, consider the new styles in clothing. If you don't like them, create your own signature style by wearing clothes that look good on you. You might use a combination of things to create your own style. Stick with it until you find a look you like but please don't get a tattoo. You will be sorry in later years. Just think about this--suppose that you have found your dream job and are looking for Mr. Right. You find him at a party. He is attracted to you. You are wearing an evening gown with three-quarter length sleeves which happen to hide your tattoo. A few weeks later, he invites you and a friend of yours to come to the beach with him and a friend of his. You happily accept. All of you decide to go to the beach and soon everybody has changed into swim togs. You have a lightweight cover up on until you reach the beach because you have not put on sunscreen yet because your friend grabbed the sunscreen and wouldn't give it to you as a joke. She says that she'll give it to you so that you can put on some sunscreen at the beach and so you put on your lightweight coverup which happens to hide your tattoo. When you reach the beach, you ask Mr. Right if he would put some sun screen on your back for you. He says that he will so you remove your cover up and he sees your tattoo and he thinks it's ugly and he tells you that he won't be involved with you because he can't stop thinking about that ugly thing on your back and the other ugly thing on your arm. (You got two tattoos at two different occasions you thought that they were so cool) so you lose Mr. Right and all because you think that now you simply must have a tattoo because they're cool. They're not cool. They disfigure your body. They cannot be removed. I have heard (on TV) of people having tattoos surgically removed, but I do not know how successful this procedure is. There would be a scar certainly. The best thing would be not to disfigure yourself with a tattoo.
