I have to throw a baby shower for my big sis on nov.3 and am pulling my hair out!! i have the cake i have the location i have the guest list. But i dont know what to do about party favors, games, or what to award winners of games. She wants a rainforest theme like mainly rainforest green and tree frogs. its for a boy. any advice will help cuz i am not good at these things to do. PLEASE HELP!!! P.S. if you know where i can find ANY rainforest baby shower things (not to be confused with jungle theme) let me know like websites or stores. thanks!!Can anyone give me baby shower help/advice?
Just some random ideas I had:
- Favors- little bags of gummy frogs, little plastic frog toys (find them at a party store),
- Find a rainforest sounds CD and play it throughout the shower.
- Build a tree out of colored butcher paper to designate the gift table. (Wrap brown paper around a cylinder. Leave some folds and crinkles in the paper to make it look like bark. Unfold some wire coat hangers. Cut out leaf-like shapes about 2 - 2.5 feet long (think banana trees) out of green paper and attach one leaf to the end of each wire. Stick the bare ends of the wires into the cylinder so that the wire side of the leaves are facing up and the wires are hidden. Attach a few frogs to the trunk of the tree and place on a table.
- Use banana leaves (on plates) to serve food. Use dark wood or bamboo serving dishes and utensils.
- Use ingredients that you would find in the rainforest. Bananas, mangoes, macadamia and brazil nuts, cocoa, etc.
And don't forget, just because it is a baby shower doesn't mean it has to be baby themed! You can just have a theme party where you give baby gifts to the mom-to-be.Can anyone give me baby shower help/advice?
Well, I have to pass on this idea to. I can give you a sites for shower games.

This might help you with the basics, but with this theme...I have no idea, since it can't have any jungle part of it.

You get get personalized chocolate candy bars for favors. You could probably find some with frogs on them, or just ask them to design one with frogs on it.
Otherwise, you could get foil wrapped chocolate frogs, or gummy frogs.
You don't necessarily have to have prizes that are directly related to the theme. Anything ladies would like is appropriate. Maybe a small box of chocolates or a scented candle. People are tickled to win anything.
You may be able to find rainforest themed party supplies at oriental trading. They have a nice selection, but I'm not sure if they have rainforest or not.
P.S. Congratulations on your new nephew!
Yikes. She's not asking for much, huh? Tree frogs. I'm not sure where you can buy stuff like that, but maybe you can make it work. Try decorating the room in the bright green color, maybe you can google pictures of tree frogs and cut them out for decorations. Not everything has to go along with the theme. For the game winners, I would get the normal stuff, not rainforest themed. For the party favors, I like to give something edible. My favorite is a sugar cookie that goes along with the theme wrapped up cute. You could use a circle cookie cutter, and cut a triangle out of one side, so it looks like a lily pad, and pipe a cute colorful frog onto each one. Good luck! Don't let it stress you out too bad, just have fun!
I found a site with many diaper cake ideas that can give you a direction for one aspect of the party.
I remember them having frogs and stuff on some of the diaper cakes, not sure what kind of frogs :-)
you can try this link: www.thecookduke.com/make-a-diaper-cake
Good Luck!
Uh, the rainforest IS the jungle. Regardless, they have tons of fabric at JoAnnes that matches that theme. You can cut table squares, etc. and even make napkins if you want to.
Maybe you can give out froggy items as gifts. Or maybe look for a frog soap mold and make little froggy soaps. How about candy molds? You can make froggy shaped chocolates. Check out the frog store, they have cute items too!

Can anyone help me on advice with a possibly sick baby cockatiel?
I just asked a few minutes ago and I noticed something else. He seems like he could be chilled. Both of his older siblings have more adult feathers while he has a lot of bare spots still. Would it help if I put a heating lamp over the nest box? There is a local cockatiel breeder, should I call them and see if they are interested in it and just hand feeding it? At four weeks, how often would he have to be hand fed???? My gut tells me to just leave him alone though and like I said before, let nature decide. Can anyone help me on advice with a possibly sick baby cockatiel?
If the bird is ill, another breeder will not want to risk her own birds health. If you want to spend the money on a vet, that's fine. But at this point I don't think your bird will make it. I feed hundreds of baby birds every day, it's part of my job. When they get like this it is usually just a matter of time. Please read my profileCan anyone help me on advice with a possibly sick baby cockatiel?
there is no other option you MUST take this bird to the vet and soon. illness kills birds quickly. it's inhumane to let them sit there sick they are not humans they don't get better on their own. nature will not fix it, it will die. if you can't provide the funds for an avian vet it's time to find an adoptive home. sorry.
Yes, definitely keep it warm and TAKE IT TO THE VET!!!!

What's childish about it? The first is just a simple statement of fact, the second adds the obvious, but ALL periods of art, music, science, whatever ';have greatly influenced susequent periods';., so why say it?
I'd go with the first one, except it's not a thesis statement. A thesis statement is a statement that defines your opinion, your belief, your thinking.
The painters of the Rennaissance period were--

--all German
--all brilliant musicians as well as painters.
--all Catholics.
--all men.

The thesis statement needs to tell the reader what you have discovered about them , not just state the obvious.

I need help/advice/tips about moving to a new state.?
My boyfriend is moving from California to Oregon so we can live together. Is there anything he must do before he leaves? When he gets here what does he have to do before getting a job? Do you have to be a citizen of the state to work/pay taxes in it? Any other general advice would be greatly appreciated.I need help/advice/tips about moving to a new state.?
I am not clear about your question. If he is an American citizen, he doesn't need permission to move anywhere he chooses.
In the United States, anyone may move anywhere from one state to another, to live, work, pay taxes, as you say. Nothing is required except to move.
The only exception is if a person is under some legal restriction to travel (on probation or parole; under some court order, or out on bail for some offense.) As long as he is an adult (over 18) , there should be no problem.
To change residency, he merely establishes his domicile (home) in the new state. He may have to apply for a new driver's license, re-register his automobile, file a proof of insurance for auto liability, file change-of-address foms with the post office to get his mail forwarded to his new home, that sort of thing. He does not need to be a permanent resident of that state to get a job.He will keep the same social security number, and will report his income to the new state (assuming that state has a state income tax . Both California and Oregon have a state personal income tax).
He obviously has to file change of address with credit cards, etc. He may have to prove he has a job to get an apartment. At the least , he must be able to afford a rental deposit and probably a security deposit to get a place to live. Once he has an address, he can apply for savings or checking accounts with a bank, get new checks, establish his credit, etc. He may have to provide some credit reference to get utilities such as gas %26amp; electricity and water, telephone, cable TV, etc. .
Most states require a person must be a resident of the state for a short period to register to vote in that state (usually thirty days at a minimum.) Then he can register to vote as a citizen in that state, county and city elections, and he is officially a citizen of Oregon. If he registers to vote in Oregon the registrar automatically sends a note to California to cancel his registration as a voter back in California. When he applies for a new Oregon driver's license, he has to turn in his old California license; same with auto registration for new Oregon license plates. He has to notify his auto insurance company of the change to Oregon as well.
Since he is a male over 18, some people forget that he must file a change of address form with the US Selective Service when he changes his address, even though we do not have a draft at this time. He gets the change of address form at the post office.

Help and advice required on starting my own Ironing service??
I am about to start up my own ironing service but I am beginning to wonder if it is going to work as I have recently heard that it usually works better in areas with alot of commuters, which I dont think we really have. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.Help and advice required on starting my own Ironing service??
I dont think the amount of computers makes a difference except they are time wasters for people, Just buy a cheap tesco iron for 拢3 and what you got to loose. All tax free income.
Oh and dont have the iron too hot on silk or nylon shirts, do people still wear nylon shirts. If you do burn any hide them and swear you never were given it in the first place. My nan used flat irons on the fire type all her life.Help and advice required on starting my own Ironing service??
I done it once People like you to put there ironed shirts in big polythene bags ,,,don't get peoples Gear mixed up Smoking is a no no,They can smell it on there Shirts Etc,,,Also its tiring work,,after ironing 60 odd shirts,,,,Good Luck,,,,
We dont have commuters in my area but my friend uses an iron service and had to wait awhile till the lady had an opening to do her ironing as she was completely booked up and at拢2.50 to 拢3 an item she must be doing really well. I hope it works out as a good business for you. Try advertising in your local paper and shop windows and usuall yonce you havea few clients word of mouth and recomendation is the best way.
a great idea best of luck, start small its all word of mouth i am sure it will work and advertise
Just start doing it. Your cost to do it is very small compared to other ';small businesses';. Start small and keep it small. Don't bother registering a business name or anything like that. Talk to your neighbors and just let them know what you are doing. Word of mouth will get you more business than anything else. And the #1 rule is make sure you charge enough for your services to make YOU happy!! Or else you won't be doing it for very long.
Cheers
I would run ad some how to get a start. Then when get some repeat customers offer a discount for a referral. This will require a customer record book. If it gets off ground you will need expence records such as starch, board pad, spray bottle etc. But you are allowed to make up to certain amount till have to report it as income. Also some towns require permit for home service. They dont check you unless someone complains about too much in and out traffic. Also if you deliver keep gas mailage record. *mamatx
Why not offer free pick up and delivery and target office complexes? Your target market will actually be business people, not families. Make yourself different from your competitors and ask for word of mouth referrals. This is a great business to run from home, saving you on storefront rentals... and... you'll get sweet tax deductions. Make sure to write a business plan, know your competition, differ from competition by offering value, and get legal with all licenses and taxes. If you are close to me in Cleveland I will hire you because I hate to iron but you'll have to pick up and drop off my clothing and beat the cost of other businesses in my area. Advertise as inexpensively as you can.

don't understand what commuters have to do with it, you will get custom from women who hate to iron and work and men who live alone who wouldn't know an iron from a microwave. the going rate round here is 50p an item, i personally wouldn't use an ironing service because i have all the time in the world to do it and i don't really mind, good luck xbecca

Any advice to help severe lower back pain?
Im taking care of my mom right now. She's 58 and has been suffering from severe lower back pain for about 2 weeks now. Before this she was in good health %26amp; we're still unsure of the cause. She doesnt have insurance so doctors %26amp; ER aren't really an option. She's in so much pain right now...she can't walk on her own. any advice?? plz help.Any advice to help severe lower back pain?
I developed severe back pain too, without a specific cause. There may have been one (shoveling snow?) but the pain started slowly, and later increased to the point where I also could not walk. I literally crawled on the floor, because standing, sitting up, and even laying down caused me crippling, curl-up-and-sob lower back pain. It's worth noting that my pain radiated down my leg too, a condition known as ';sciatica'; in which a bulging or ruptured disc in your lower (';lumbar';) spine applies pressure to the nerves that leave the spinal cord at that disc and travel down your leg.
Your mom may or may not have the sciatic pain, but I'd still be willing to bet that it's a bulging or ruptured disc in her lumbar spine that is the cause, since she went from good health to severe pain in a short time. I'm not sure what your financial situation is, but you could probably see a family doctor for around $100 a visit, and if you could save for this, it might benefit her greatly. I had no insurance too, and simply paid cash for the visit. If you can get someone to recommend a good doctor, he will be concerned about the possibility of long term nerve damage, in which case your mom might be able to benefit from free treatment provided by state or federal social services. Be honest with your doctor about this and ask him/her what you should do. This was my situation, and when it was determined that I needed surgery to be functional again, the state paid for it. The doctor might also be able to get her some inexpensive pain medication and perhaps a dose of oral steroids. These can provide some relief, even if only enough to get her to the point where she can work on her back herself (see next paragraph).
If no medical service is an option, believe it or not, even severe pain like your mom's can go away after a few weeks to a several months. If her pain is as bad as I think it is, she will want to rest all of the time, but if/when she does have episodes where it feels like she could stretch it, or exercise it, or walk a little on it, she SHOULD, even though she may feel that she should not. Current research shows that complete rest usually causes weakness in the back that can make the injury and the pain worse. Do an internet search for, ';exercises that alleviate back pain'; and make sure the exercises you find are for her type of pain. I found that most of the advice online is for people whose pain and disability was nowhere near as bad as mine, so be sensitive to your mom's unique limits. Exercises could really hurt, and should only be done to the extent that it is not torture for her. My doctor also suggested applying a cold pack several times a day, ten minutes at a time and there is no danger trying this for any sort of back pain (remember not to apply extreme cold directly to skin - wrap it in a cloth or apply it outside her clothes). Give the back a chance to warm up in between, using a heating pad if you wish, though it is not necessary (I didn't). Do not use a lot of heat on it. The occasional cold pack DID help me.
Most cases of back pain can be improved or eliminated with this type of treatment and time. Some, like severe cases that do not improve, may require surgery (usually laminectomy and/or discectomy) that relieves the pressure on the nerve. I had a laminectomy/discectomy that provided excellent relief and returned me to full function, but surgery can have complications and whenever possible, non-surgical treatment should be pursued (exercises, stretches, cold packs, with frequent periods of rest - probably very frequent for your mom).
Do a lot of research online - a lot of it will apply to people with ';inconvenient'; pain, and not crippling pain like your mom's, but it is still helpful to understand the possible causes. The most upsetting thing to me when I got severe back pain was how unrelenting and excruciating it was. There was a strong psychological element to it. You wondered if you would ever be ';normal'; again, and whether you could even live with that much pain, not knowing how long it would last. The idea that it might last ';forever'; was devastating. The fact that most of the cases discussed online were not as bad made it more discouraging, but still, familiarize yourself with the issues, and be confident that it is very likely to improve if you take a few basic steps like the ones I mentioned. Mostly, let her know that the people who have EXTREME pain, excruciating, crippling pain, are out here, and we do understand. Despite everything she feels, it is very likely to improve greatly, if not totally.
See a doctor if you can, and good luck.Any advice to help severe lower back pain?
Is it possible that the muscles in her lower back need to be stretched a bit? At age 32 I was having lower back pain and doctor gave me a handful of stretching exercises. I'm 45 now and I still do them when my lower back hurts. E-mail me if these aren't clear.
#1: Sit on the floor, pull knees up to chest. Roll back onto your shoulders and neck, keeping your knees to your chest. Return and roll up to your butt. Do this 5-7 times.
#2: Sit cross legged on the floor. Keep back straight, and just lean straight forward with hands a comfy distance out in front of you and on the floor. Do this for about 45 seconds, stretching the lower back.
#3: Sit on floor, lean back a bit on hands, knees straight up and together, feet flat on floor and heels together and against the butt. Slowly move the knees to the left until your left leg is flat against the floor, and right foot is off the ground, keeping knees and feet together. Then start with legs vertical again and do the same thing to the right.
#4: Sit on floor, cross right leg over left, put right foot next to left thigh and flat on ground. Turn your shoulders to the right, put back of left hand on outside of right thigh, turn your head to the right and put right hand behind you on the ground. Do this for 45 seconds, then reverse everything and do it to the left for 45 secs
Good luck to you and your mom!

Help! - any advice on how to calm down my emotions after jogging or exercise ?
On days when I go jogging I feel giddy all day - I can't make important decisions, all women seem attractive, I start thinking fondly of people I wouldn't otherwise think about. I find it difficult to function at my job (where I need to be thoughtful and professional) because I feel jumpy and generally happy all day. Is there a good depressant to help me calm down on days I go jogging?Help! - any advice on how to calm down my emotions after jogging or exercise ?
Oh, you are full of endorphins from the exercise.
I would say wait to exercise after work, or maybe drink a huge glass of warm milk to sober you up.Help! - any advice on how to calm down my emotions after jogging or exercise ?
wow of all the things to complain about!
how about not jogging then bc that's supposed to be the beauty of running so you can enjoy life
I don't want to be disrespectful, but I would LOVE to have that problem!! Enjoy.

How much would i get paid if i joined the fire services? any advice to help me get in?
am 20, will have a foundation degree by the time i sign up. go to the gym regularly, am 16 stone with not much fat, perfect vision. anything else to make me more appealing when hired? How much would i get paid if i joined the fire services? any advice to help me get in?
In Britain it,s not easy to get in,you need inside help-somebody in the family already in the service. My son applied and was as fit as a fiddle but failed to get inHow much would i get paid if i joined the fire services? any advice to help me get in?
Getting into the fire service is extremely difficult unless like someone else has said you have an inside source. You could try volunteering for a while and then using the contacts you make doing that to boast your application. The fire service is very close knit, having an inside source will put you above anybody else especially if you have a decent knowledge of the job before hand. Also any other kind of volunteering thats physically and mentally demanding, that will give you some relative experience. look into joing the community police force, you know the part time volunteers you see wondering around. You gain experience and make contacts.
The fireservice is tough and you have to pass many tests including general knowledge literacy numeracy that kind of thing not to mention the physical side i think the training is around 3 months after the intitial interview process , which includes fitness eyesight etc , i would go down to your local station and have a talk with them find out what you have to do and what you can do when it is time to apply good luck.
You'd get paid more to start fires.

Help giving advice to a friend whose dad got a DUI?
I have a close friend and last night around 1 AM his father got a DUI. He's 15 and wants advice on how to take it. I'm really clueless on what to tell him.Help giving advice to a friend whose dad got a DUI?
He should be worried about his dad's well being but shouldn't be ashamed of him at all. He should continue to live his life. His dad's DUI had nothing to do with him except that it was his dad. His life won't be ruined. He shouldn't be worried about himself but his dad.Help giving advice to a friend whose dad got a DUI?
He can help out by maintaining his responsibilities without being asked. - he may need to 'be his own dad' for a while
His dad will be going through a real tough time. the whole world is going to be dumping on him for a while. i think it's important for your friend to while understanding it was a serious mistake, to not play the 2 wrongs make a right game
I think if your friend does his best, his dad will remember it for the rest of his life
That's his Dad's DUI- not his. He can learn from it though. Don't drink and drive. His dad may be forced to go to AA meetings.... he should be supportive and go with him. His dad will get through this and it's a great learning example for him. Again, Don't drink and drive or there is the risk you'll get caught.

Diaper Dilemma. Need help and advice on what diapers to use for newborn?
Some people are telling me to buy generic diapers for a newborn, because of how much cheaper they are and many the baby uses. Other people are telling me to only use certain kinds of diaper, such as Pampers Swaddlers Newborn because if I dont, the baby will poop right through the diaper and leave me with unnecessary messes. What would you recommend? Diaper Dilemma. Need help and advice on what diapers to use for newborn?
In my experience it has varied with the children. My daughter could only use Pampers. Anything else she leaked out of like crazy etc. Then I had twin boys and since I had to pay for two I tried the generic from Target and those worked wonderfully. I have consistently found Luvs to be the happy medium diaper. I am expecting in a few weeks and went and bought a pack of Pampers Newborn w/ the cord cutout- they were on sale and a pack of size 1 Luvs. I know I am going to need WAAAY more than this, but I figured I'd just see how these worked since it does seem like each child is different. If you watch, Pampers can send out some pretty nice coupons ($1-$2 off) making them a reasonable buy. You're just going to have to shop around and find what works best for you, baby and your budget. I'd recommend not buying a LOT of any brand until you meet your new baby and see how things go. Congrats to you! :)Diaper Dilemma. Need help and advice on what diapers to use for newborn?
I used the pampers swaddlers newborns for my daughter. Then once she went to size 1 I started using Luvs and White Cloud diapers. We are now to size 3 and Luvs and White Cloud are the only diapers that I buy. (White Cloud if I'm at Wal-mart %26amp; Luvs if I'm at Target.) I hated the Pampers dry babies because they didn't have any elasticity to the tabs at all. I hated huggies because my daughter would poop and pee out of the sides of them. They seem to be very narrow diapers. Everytime I put a huggies on my daughter I felt like I was putting a giant pad with an elastic wasteband on her. So Swaddlers Luvs %26amp; White Cloud are my diapers of choice. Swaddlers are so much more expensive though.
Sign up at luvs.com and huggies.com and pampers.com and they should send you diaper samples. One diaper. They did me anyway. It's really trial %26amp; error as far as diapers go.
when my daughter was born i used the SWADDLERS she was so small around the waist and butt that i had to use premies because they fit my baby just right and held up you also want to be careful of the babies BELLY BUTTON you dont want a diaper to irritate the belly button but its really up to your baby because each baby has different skin and you baby may not be able to use off brand. i used the expensive ones until she was about 3 months old and was using the bathroom more often then i changed to the cheaper diapers cause of having to change them often really its just a personel preference but swaddlers are good so are luvs and huggies but at the same time so are the wal-mart brand the more expensive diapers tend to be made to fit the baby better though just get a couple different brand and try them out for yourself and see which ones YOU LIKE just when people ask you what type of diapers you want to use just tell each one of them to give you a bag of something different CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK
I have been using generic diapers since the beginning. I started out using the White Cloud Supremes (Wal-mart brand), but I have switched to the Walgreens brand, they put them on sale Buy One, Get One Free.
Her babysitter insists on using brand diapers, but I have found them to be the same, or worse, then the generics. Huggies leak EVERYWHERE, Pampers leak up the back when she poops (BIG mess every single time), Luvs seem to work ok, but she can't wear them overnight. The generics are the only ones that work consistently every single time.
My recommendation is to try them all and see what works best for your baby. We used huggies, pampers, and luvs when she was a newborn and NOTHING stopped the poop from messing up her onesies! Now that she is a bit older we go with luvs because they have not leaked yet and they are cheaper than huggies or pampers and softer than the generic brand like the target brand.
EDIT: as a newborn I personally did not like to use the generic brand for her I found them a bit to rough for her skin.
We used Huggies when he was a newborn and loved them. Then when he was between 3 and 4 months we switched to Target's brand of diapers and have been using them ever since(he's 7 months now) without any problems whatsoever. Just because a diaper is cheaper doesn't mean it's cheaply made as someone else said. They may or may not work for you.
My suggestion is to get a few packs of different brands so you can see which you like best. Your baby may get a rash with some, some may not fit right, etc.
We like Huggies (all Huggies that I have tried so far work really well and they are pretty accurate for their size). I like Pampers and Luvs, but I have to use the next size up from what my son wears to get them to fit right. Right now though, we are using Luvs during the day (since they are a little cheaper) and Huggies at night (they are a little more expensive, but they absorb sooooo much better) since he's pretty much sleeping through the night now.
Sign up for the clubs with each manufacturers and try them there. Pampers swaddlers made my little one breakout in the nb size but size 1 and 2 so far no problem. Each baby is different, so each diaper will fit each baby different. My suggestion is to buy the littlest pack of a diaper and try it. you might have to do this for every size, but then you will get the best fit for your little one.
If you want to go with dispoable, pampers swaddlers are best for girls and huggies gentle care is best for boys. You could get diaper service and help out the environment, but that will be just as expensive as disposables. I prefer G Diapers. These are re-usable but you put in a flushable liner. They have sizes small enough for newborns too
I myself LOVE huggies...but any diapers are good.
I bought a generic brand from Walmart when my daughter was ';new'; and found that they worked fine, but I had to change my daughter more often, because they weren't as absorbent.
The cheaper are fine for newborns, but I would recommend a more expensive brand for when they start to move.
I would recommend using Huggies Supreme Gentle Care diapers for your newborn. These diapers are very absorbent and worked very well for my, now 2 month old daughter. These diapers are also great because they have a u-shaped cut out in the front to keep the umbilical cord of your newborn safe and clean! We didn't have any problems with these, but I wouldn't stock up on tons of them, because my daughter outgrew them FAST!!
Good Luck! :)
My experience with pampers swaddlers is that poopy diapers end up being a mess and leaking. I have had great luck with Huggies Supreme Gentle Care. If I were you I would do what I did, and test out a few brands you're considering, you'll see what works for you and baby the best. I had no luck with the two generics I tried, they got soooo wet that I went through twice as many.
my fiance and i had a little one last month. our FAVORITE are huggies gentle care, then papmpers swaddlers, the only generic we have found that we like are safeways Mom to Mom brand. They really work well and are very nicely priced, just a little harder to get them to form around her little legs right.
Huggies, from start to finish. Yeah, they are more expensive, but considering how cheaply made the cheap ones are, you go through them twice as fast, making it basically the same amount of money spent, on the same amount of diapers.
I love Pamper's Swaddlers. I did try the huggies and my little guy leaked out of them. So, my advice...Pampers Swadlers all the way!
Congratulations on your little bundle of joy.
i hear luvs work really well i know plenty of people who have used them with no problems
im going to start with pampers for newborn the switch to luvs because they are cheaper..
I think that Luvs are the best to buy. They are a lil cheaper than pampers and huggies. The generics might be ok at the newborn stage but as they get older they dont handle big messes as well.
I used (still use) the pampers swaddlers, not because of poop, but because they were the only ones that didn't irritate my lil' man's legs.
i just had a little one a few months ago. i used the cheap ones during the day and he hugies at night when he was sleepin longer.it has worked out great and saved some moneybecca

I need some help and advice about vet medical bills!?
Hi everybody, recently I read a post tonight about a lady who's 7 year old dog is very sick. Something to do with diabetes and some other things. Anyways, she is located in Chicago, I felt very bad and am trying to find out some information for her. She cannot afford all the medical expenses the vet is costing her. I am just wondering if anyone knows of payment plans or anyway to help?I need some help and advice about vet medical bills!?
This is very sad. I do rescue work of problem dogs so I really understand how many dogs are abandoned at this point and then put down by shelters who cannot affort to heal them.
Unless she had insurance, there really isnt any money anywhere for this. One thing you can do is take on a project to raise money for her!
Thank you for caring!I need some help and advice about vet medical bills!?
fundable.com
It helped the farm I volunteer at raise 2,500$ in just 1 month. Give it a try. =]
How nice of you to want to help this lady! Vet care has gotten so expensive that many people can't afford to keep their pets healthy, much less get them well when they're desperately ill. With reasonable credit, she might want to consider applying for a Care Credit card from GE Money Bank. Not all vets take this card, and the interest rates can be high, but it would allow her to make monthly payments or use a 90 days same as cash option. (see ';Know Your Sources,'; below.)
Another suggestion would be for her to talk with the Humane Society (ASPCA) in Chicago or Perdue University College of Veterinarian Medicine. They may know of vets who will take payments, or have access to groups that will help pay vet bills. Some of these organizations were highlighted in a recent issue of Bark magazine as well as The Whole Dog Journal.

Hope you're able to help her have a very happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year with her dear four-footed companion.
Have her contact her local SPCA, some have programs to help with dogs who have ongoing medical problems. They have the dog see their vet at either low or no cost, depending on what the lady can afford. The prescription medicine the dog needs can be ordered through Revival Animal Health, with a Vet's prescription. They are online, or call 1-800-786-4751. If she can't find help through the SPCA in her area, at least she can save on the dogs prescription medication.
If her vet refuses to call in the prescriptions, after she explains her financial situation; she should find another Vet, in my opinion.
We are huge dog lovers/breeders; and our heart goes out to anyone in this situation.
I wish we could start a donation fund for her, but, unfortunately, with all the con artists out there now a days, I think ppl would be too suspicious to donate.....a sad comment on our society.
There is something called Care Credit. They are a credit card, basicly for vet's, plastic surgery, eye laser surgery....wacky things like that. I used it like a Visa for the vet. There are only certain vets that accept that as payment-they list them on the website. Look into it. I have it and it helped out...I charged about $400+ on it at the vet-dog had to have teeth pulled, anesthesia, etc. %26amp; only have to pay about $40 a month. Nice. Vet bills blow, could be hundreds or more at a time, your animal is sick and you want to help, but it can get pricy and you dont want to have to make desicions based on price. Sometimes, you have to tho...
good luck to your friend and her pet...sorry for them.
Insurance would probably be the best bet...although, I don't know if they would cover pre exisiting medical conditions, which I think is retarded!

Insurance would probably be the best bet...although, I don't know if they would cover pre exisiting medical conditions, which I think is retarded!

Can you please help or advice me whats good company for auto loans?
I mean lowest rate I can have to buy a new car (RAV 4).
ThanksCan you please help or advice me whats good company for auto loans?
Go to a credit union. Credit unions are non-profits and generally offer the lowest rates. Look in the phone book under ';credit unions.'; You will need to join a credit union before you can take out a loan. Ask your relatives and friends if they know of any credit unions in your area.
Don't borrow money from a dealership. This will be the most expensive loan you can take out.
Good luck. Can you please help or advice me whats good company for auto loans?
Hi
I saw your question I have decided to help people out due to the fact that I myself has been scammed twice by fake lenders in my search for a loan but at last I got a reliable lender that gave me the loan($60,000 USD) that I was in dire need of even with a bad credit. Hence I decided that I will refer anybody I come across to this God sent lender he is reliable and his terms are fair. You can get to him via his email address charles_lenders@yahoo.com Please tell him that Deborah Kirk he gave out a loan to me . I have search for a legit lender until I got him and I decided to help my fellow humans with this because there are a lot of fake lenders out there and I do not want any body to fall a prey please get to him and tell him that I referred you to him.
Thanks.

Can anyone give me advice to help me quit smoking?
I'm hoping someone out there can send me a link or tell me something ( i don't already know ) that will help me stop smoking for good.
Can anyone give me advice to help me quit smoking?
I gave up 47 years ago.these are some of the things I noticed first the cost involved how much a week, how much a year, and how much in ten years and what I could buy with the money or get out of debt.
Next I carried a packet of cigarettes unopened.
One day at a time I found the urge to smoke was 4 or 5 times a day I would fill my lungs with fresh air as deep as possible, determine not to smoke, as the days past I found that the urge would became less every time but more intense by the 18th day the worst was over but the urge was still very great.
After the 28th day that's how long it takes to change any habit.
I now cannot stand the smell of some one smoking even ten metres away.I hope this helps If you have a relapse at any stage don't give up.
good luck

Advice to help get over the nicotine addiction!?
My resolution for the new year is to quit smoking. I have been doing well all day but I do have my cravings. Any advice to help the cravings?
Please note I do realize that I will have cravings and withdrawels from quitting, I am just looking to make this a little easier.Advice to help get over the nicotine addiction!?
Nicotine is the least of your worries and definitely not the only addictive substance in cigarettes. Carbon monoxide makes you high and it is one of the most addictive components. There are many others. Science has chosen to focus on one.
The trouble with this mindset of avoiding cravings, avoiding nicotine, etc. is that it induces an 'away from' motivation, which is much less effective in real life than a 'towards' motivation. Think of the following: if you focus on 'quitting smoking' what are you thinking of all the time? What word is in that very phrase? That's right. Smoking. And the very thought, perseverated upon like that over and over and over, will of course induce what you perceive to be cravings.
Focus on the positive. Focus on what you are doing FOR yourself. Focus on breathing fresh air, on becoming healthier, on tasting your food better, on having more energy, saving money and actually putting it away to do something very special with for yourself, on how much better sex is (if this is appropriate to your situation). You see, become a breather of fresh air has many many positives that far outweigh any challenges you may have along the way.
Breathe deeply. This is something positive that previous habit actually helped you to do. Breathe through a straw for a time if it helps you to have something to do with your hands. Better yet, get youself a 'salt pipe' (you can order it from the u.k. or get it off ebay) and use it. This is a simple device that you breathe through (though called a pipe you do not light anything) for 15 minutes a day. It contains salt that was formed centuries ago within the earth and the minerals in this salt help to heal the serious damage that your former behaviour caused in your system. The cost is around $50 U.S. but the contraption lasts for 5 years if you continue to use it.
You can do this. I know you can. I used two packages a day of that substance you used to use and I have been free of it for over 5 years now by becoming a seeker of the good things in life.Advice to help get over the nicotine addiction!?
I suggest the patch. It worked for me. I am clean from cigs for 9 months now and not looking back. I used the 2nd step patch full strength for one week, leaving them on for two days instead of one day , then cut the patches in half for two weeks, then cut them in half again for another two weeks, by the time I was finished I was a nonsmoker. Good luck. its nice to be able to breathe again.
give them away that what i did
pray to god everyday for support to fight off this temptation,do something else like a new hoobie or a job so it will help you to get your mind off to smoke anymore, you can may also excerise to get the cravings off of your mind also, and do it with someone that you trust with so that person can help you too.
What worked for me - was to see how sad/pathetic it is to smoke. It's a mental image on the street to see a large person helplessly sucking on a little small white stick. Being controlled by the little stick. And that image helped me quit, because we are stronger than a little white stick. At least I think so.
The reward is so worth it. Clean lungs, no more coughs, don't smell, perfume works better, no more dry skin and yellow nails, no more mints every 2 seconds, save money, no more emergency run for cigs.... think of all the good stuff. It helps too.
The weight gain and withdrawals are given. Pat yourself on the back for acknowledging it.
its not difficult , and duhhhhhhhhhhhhh, nicotine NICOTINE GUM , KEY WORD NICOTINE, as george lopez would say ';its tha same sh..'; wut you want to do is actually quit cold turkey ,dont listen to tha looser's who are still coughing up a lung ,because you may get to that point to if dont quit ,chew regular gum its way cheaper and everytime you crave a deathstick chew gum ,and keep your mind on other things like wut are you going to wear ,clean or cook while chewing gum ,trust me it's all about keeping the mind occupied with other things
quit smoking
First of all, I want to congratulate you on this decision. I too have made this my New Year's resolution. My husband and I actually decided to do this together because we thought both of us quitting would be more effective rather than having the constant temptation around. We are using the patch which comes in different strengths depending on how heavy a smoker you are. It is working very well to control the physical withdrawal. I have heard behavior health experts state that it takes 28 days to break the mechanics of a habit. That is probably why the patch and other nicotine replacement products work so that you are not dealing with the physical addiction at the same time as the psychological addiction. There is no shame in using something to help the process. Getting support from others who are kicking the habit and understand where you are coming from is probably also a good idea. Good luck and keep on keeping on.
try contacting tobacco control they helped me quit also here is a site that has tons of info and other ppl that quit and a chatroom which is great to keep hands and mind busy best to quit cold turkey 3 days out of your system and then you just have too keep mind occupied try chewing gum and squeezing toys to keeps hands busy also PLESE do quit i had no choice ended up with asthma which you dont want Good Luck %26amp; Happy New Year!
Smoking is one of the most difficult habits to give up. I quit 4 years ago and I'm not sorry. I quit with the patch and my husband quit with the chewing gum. You may find you need neither some people can pick up a pen and doodle their way thru their cravings. Everyone is different you need to find your crutch and use it thru those first few weeks. It is very hard but keep up the good work it really is worth it honest!! If you fall off the wagon please don't distress just get yourself motivated again and go back at it. Whatever you do.....DON'T QUIT QUITTING!! Good Luck!!
Try Nicotine gum or a nicotine patch... it's extremely difficult to quit cold-turkey. Seriously, get on one of those fast.
Best of luck to you.

What can I eat to gain healthy weight? is it best to drink protein shakes? any advice will help!?
i am 5'9 and 118 pounds so I am not tragically thin but I would like to put maybe 5-7 pounds back on....How do I do it? do i Work out while I try to gain weight? What can I eat to gain healthy weight? is it best to drink protein shakes? any advice will help!?
Gaining weight %26amp; muscle is a two step process: you have to eat more and lift weights or engage in some sort of strength training routine.
The most important rule to remember if you want to gain weight is to eat more calories than you burn. Only by doing this can your body use the excess energy to build muscle. If you eat less than you burn, there is no way to gain weight, it's as simple as that. Your first step is to figure out how many calories your body burns per day. Use this calculator http://calorieneedscalculator.com to get an estimate. Now eat more than you burn and you're on your way to gaining muscle.
Gaining weight is as simple as eat more than you burn but if you want to gain muscle, you also need to exercise. If you just ate more without lifting weights, you'd just gain fat and become unhealthy and overweight. When you lift weights (or participate in any strength training) you're actually causing some damage to your muscles.
When you rest, your body uses those extra calories to repair and rebuild the muscles. When this process is complete, the muscle is stronger and a bit bigger than it was before. You obviously won't notice a difference right away, but over time you will find yourself becoming stronger and bigger.
You need to keep your diet clean to gain the right kind of weight. Stay away from sugary and simple carb foods such as candy, foods made with white flour, soda and other junk. These foods will promote fat storage, something you don't need. Stick to foods made from whole wheat flour, oats, brown rice, lean sources of protein (chicken, some cuts of beef, fish), nuts, beans, legumes and protein shakes - yum yum. If you need more details, go to the Guide to Gaining Muscle - http://straighthealth.com/pages/guides/g鈥?/a>

I need help or advice for losing weight?
Right now a am 16 years old and weigh about 210 ibs and 5';4' I know I am seriously over weigh and i need some advice on when and how much to eat also some exercises that would help with weight loss. I also tend to eat when I am full and bored and want to try to stop it. I've seen a docotor and would like other opinions. I know i need to lose weight and would like to lose it before school starts in september.I need help or advice for losing weight?
You can lose a lot of weight just by changing the way that you eat. One of the easiest ways to lose weight is to eat less food but more often. The way I do this is to divide my daily calorie maximum by six. Here鈥檚 an example.
Let鈥檚 say that I want to lose weight by eating only 1200 calories per day. Instead of eating 3 meals a day of 400 calories each, I鈥檓 going to do it differently.
Instead, I鈥檓 going to eat 6 meals a day of 200 calories each.

Hi Jack,
If there's still time, you should look into attending a weight loss summer camp before school starts. There are a variety of different ones around the country that you can look into. I went to one last summer in California in order to lose weight and I had a very successful and fun experience. It was a summer camp designed to help campers lose weight and keep it off through a variety of excellent activities. It was great because I get to participate in adventurous indoor/outdoor activities and meet wonderful people, all while losing weight, and then learning how to keep it off.
Here's the link to more info of the camp I went to:
Wellspring: http://www.choicecamps.com/overnight-sum鈥?/a>
I'm not sure where you're from, but you should check out this website http://www.choicecamps.com. You can find all sorts of camps, including weight loss camps in your area that you may be interested in.
If you specifically go to this website, it will give you a list of weight loss camps you can look into: http://www.choicecamps.com/search/overni鈥?/a>
I hope this was helpful and let me know if you have any other questions!

OK so sorry if this is a little long but this really will help. Here is a pretty good step-by-step daily plan for you.
Get up every morning at 8 AM or earlier.
Eat 2 hard boiled eggs and one piece of beacon.
Wait 1 hour.
Go running outside for one hour. But when you first start, walk and go a little faster everyday to build up your strength.
Come home and do whatever until lunch, do not snack unless it is fruit or vegies.
For lunch, have things such as salads, heathly sandwiches and fruit vegies.
Wait 1 hour.
Exersize for 30 mins, crunches, lunges, pull ups, push ups, tred mill, walking, running, swimming, etc.
Again, do whatever, no snacking unless fruit/vegies.
For dinner, there are plenty of heathy recipies online.
Wait 1 hour.
Exersize for 15 mins.
Bed.
Follow this routine everyday, and at the end of every week, reward yourself with ONE candy bar.
Do's!
Eat right.
Exersize.
Check the caleries/fat/sugar on everything you buy.
Count caleries.
Snack healthy
Buy work out stuff, not like boflex or anything epencive, just weights etc
Blow up a picture of yourself now, and of what u want to look like, and hang them up together on your bathroom wall.
Bike
I would suggest joining a sport or exersize group.
Don'ts!
Try those crazy weird diet plans, you'll hurt yourself.
Eat Junk
Slack
Sit around
Lose coinfidence
(Mostly) QUIT!
Buy:
Weights
Vegies
Fruits(Fruit salad is sweet and healthy)
Smoothie makings(A sweet treat that you can have anytme, healthy)
Blender for smoothies and healthy drinks.
Camera(Take a pic of yourself every 2 weeks, in the end when you look at them all, you'll feel really good about yourself.)
V8 Juice, it's soooo good and great for you!
In the end
When you've lost the weight and are in shape. Treat yourself to something new, a dress that makes you look nice, shoes, or a new haircut. To represent the new you!
I hope I helped, email me if you need any other tips.
DON'T GIVE UP! IT'S ALL ABOUT WILL POWER! YOU CAN DO IT!

Can anyone help me with advice on giving my cats a pill?
I have 1 big cat that does not like to be given frontline so I know giving him a pill will be very hard...I don't even know how to do this, I have tried to put it in the food and he will not touch it, he knows! My other cat is pretty easy, it is the male that has to take 1 1/2 pills so any advice would be great! ThanksCan anyone help me with advice on giving my cats a pill?
1. Pick cat up and cradle it in the crook of your left arm as if holding a baby. Position right forefinger and thumb on either side of cat's mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As cat opens mouth, pop pill into mouth. Allow cat to close mouth and swallow.
2. Retrieve pill from floor and cat from behind sofa. Cradle cat in left arm and repeat process.
3. Retrive cat from bedroom, and throw soggy pill away.
4. Take new pill from foil wrap, cradle cat in left arm holding rear

HOW TO GIVE A DOG A PILL WRAP IT IN BACON..Can anyone help me with advice on giving my cats a pill?
All three of my cats ';pill'; very easily. I feed them dry food exclusively. I take their pills and rub them in my hand with a few pieces of their food. Then I simply put the pills on top of their food. If they are capsules, I open them and dump the contents on their food. No problem. (My cats are hungry when they eat as they get 1/4 cup of food in the morning and 1/4 cup in the afternoon. If they don't eat it right away, I pick it up and put it away. This makes sure that each cat eats his food only. Their weights are perfect and they are very healthy.Perhaps, if your cats are used to grazing all day long, this won't work for you)
I used to make 2/3 parts and put in his gravy servings. Hi even don't know it's there.
Have your vet teach you how to use a piller. You can use a piller that does the same thing as using your fingers. There is a way to gently open their mouth by using your fingers on both sides of their mouth in the back area, but I always preferred to have the pill ready in one hand on the end of my middle finger and pry open their jaws along the bottom teeth and jamming the pill as far down the throat as possible and as fast as possible (you must have short nails to do this). Use a little bit of lubricant like vasoline or lanoline on the pill. Then close their mouth and hold it shut while stroking their throat until they swallow. Even then, it doesn't guarantee they won't spit it out. You have to check their gums and under their tongues to make sure they aren't harboring it, and they will, sometimes. They will hold it there and spit it out when you aren't looking. Your best bet is to have the vet teach you various techniques or have him/her do it for you. I am an excellent piller (can do it in about a second flat), but some cats have even got the best of me!! Another suggestion is to ask the vet to give it to you in liquid form, if possible, and you can squirt it into the pockets of the sides of their mouths, little by little with an eye dropper. They HAVE to swallow it that way. Takes a little longer, but gets the job done.
can you squeeze it in a treat like pounce. maybe he wont notice its in there. we used to give my dog his meds in a piece of cheese, it worked every time.
DrsFosterSmith.com has pills capsules that are made from treats...you just pop the pill in and they'll eat it up...They are made for dogs and cats and they work so good!!!!
is it a kind of pill that you can crush? If you can crush it do so and hide it in some of his favorite treats or wet cat food. this worked for my cat. good luck.
Have you tried Frontline drops? It's so easy. You just put some drops on the skin on his neck. And within 24 hrs everything is okay.
If you have, and this is what you mean with that your cat don't want to take Frontline, I can suggest the following:
Crush the medicine into dust. Add a few drops with water and mix good. Put this in a syringe (without needle) and force it down in your cat. Put the end behind the back teeth and give the cat the substance. You have to be two people. One to hold the cat and one to do the medicine.
It sounds harsh, yes I know.
But I have been working with so many cats, and I have always seen that cats that will not take pills, you just have to force them (they know all the tricks).
Hence, for me, when the drops came with Frontline, I was more than happy :o)
At the moment I am giving pills to 10 cats twice a day so I am probably the expert...!
Wait until the cat is in one of his lethargic moods (first thing in the morning is good) then do the following:
1. Take the pill in your right hand;
2. Sit on the floor with the cat (all nice and friendly) then with your left hand take him by the scruff of the neck - a handful, not just a pinch;
3. Lift him up so his back feet are just on the floor;
4. Holding the pill between your index finger and thumb, prise his jaws wide open;
5. Push the tablet to the back of his throat - as far back as possible and beyond his teeth;
6. Still holding his scruff, close his mouth and rub his chin in a downward motion to massage the tablet down his throat.
If you don't get it first time then wait some time for him to calm down before trying again.
Sounds simple but with practice you can get it over and done with before he realises what is going on.
Other recommendation for problem cats is to cut the tablet into 2 or even 4 pieces and insert into a piece of cheese or tuna fish - something pungent but small enough that they wont bite into it.
Have fun!
I had this problem. My vet told me some advice and it worked.
I gave my cat a little veggie oil from a t-spoon, which he loved and ate right from the spoon.
I then sat on the floor with him inbetween my legs and held him firmly with one hand. WIth the other hand I placed my thumb and finger at the joints of his jaw and pressed until he opened his mouth. I pushed the pill in his mouth and then held his mouth shut while I stroked his neck downward, to encourage the swallowing movement. You might have to have a friend help you.
you can pill him - basically crank his/her head back until the angle of the jaw forces him/her to open up and pop it in. You really won't hurt them, contrary to the faces they make, their jaw will open before you break anything (I realize this sounds gory/gruesome, sorry...). There is a possibility of it getting down the windpipe instead of the stomach pipe which could be dangerous. And some cats are really really good at avoiding this... Alternatively, my vet uses a little ';pill syringe'; thingie which slides in the side of the mouth and seems to work just great. My cats are (so far) really good about pills the few times I've had to do them, but if I had a tough one, I would contact the vet and see if they could order you one and show you how to use it. Good luck. I have seen cats who can lick a dish clean and still avoid a pill (and then don't they look smug!)...
If nothing else works, you can get a kind of syringe thing from your vet which you put the pill in then sort've 'shoot' it into your cat's mouth, but use it as a last resort, my cat really didn't like it!
Pray for mercy!
LOL! No I'm just kidding! Well... sorta. LOL!
Pilling a cat comes very easy for me, but I've been doing it forever. I can pill any cat in about 1 second flat. This is my trick.
You kneel on your knees the floor. Put your bum on your heels and close any exit off with you feet. Put kitty between your legs. Kitty will usually try to back out but can't because you have created a cave with your legs so kitty is trapped.
Now... grab kitty's head with your left hand. Have the pillin your right hand and pry kittys mouth open with your right hand.
Quickly! And I mean Quickly! shove the pill down the back of kitty's throat!
Shut kitty's mouth and blow on kittys nose to make him swallow.
Reopen mouth and check to MAKE SURE kitty swallowed and or did not cheek the pill.
Release kitty and pray it doesn't remember what you just did to it the next time you need to pill it.
And that is how you pill a cat!
First you need two people to do it. One person holds the cat by the back of the neck with his head tilted up, Then the pill giver place their fingers toward the back of the jaw. If you push in gently it will pop open. Put the pill in the back as far as you can push or throw it , shut the jaw and rub the cats neck, you will see him swallow then the pill is in. They also had a thing at the vet that you can put the pill into. It is call a pill shooter, its about $4.00. It shoots the pill into the back of the cat throat and they swallow it. I have a cat that when he was little (runt of the litter, now 25lb Rag Doll) who had ashasma, I had to give him a pill 3 times a day, I learned how fast. Good luck hope this helps.
Below is the best instructions for giving a cat pills.
Pill pockets. they work great. different flavors, sizes.
My little guy takes a pill everyday. sometimes I have to add a little peanut butter. with a kitty add a little butter .
I have found the best method for pilling difficult cats is to do it as inobtrusively as possible. I handle no more of the cat than I need to. Since pilling the cat requires that I only get it down the cats throat, I take hold of the cats head at the cheeks, tilt it back, open the mouth with one of the fingers from the hand holding the pill and pop the pill over the base of the tongue, then I hold the mouth shut and rub the throat till the cat swallows and the tongue comes out to lick the nose - this usually only takes about 10 seconds and the cat gets over it very quickly.
Your vet office should have a print up of this procedure with diagrams - if your cat is really difficult there are also special pillers available at your vet office.
Can you get a liquid version? I had to give my cat a liquid medicine that she hated. I squirted the right amount onto her paw, and she licked it off. Now my cats have to take laxatone for their hairballs. One cat hates it, and one loves it. I put it on a straw ( laxatone's really sticky) and rub it on her paw. Same technique for liquids works every time.
Oh man, I hate giving cats pills! OK, I've tried putting in food before, and it doesn't matter how much he or she has liked the food previously, they just eat around the pill and leave it there. I've also tried crushing and putting in a mixture of something yummy on a spoon - nup. The only way is to hold the cat with its botttom backed towards your chest or between your legs, have your left hand firmly holding the cat's body and preventing its front legs from moving and use your right hand to open up its mouth at the side of the mouth (not the front), and slip the pill in with your right hand, then hold their mouth shut firmly and stroke their throat downwards to encourage them to swallow - make sure you firmly, but gently, hold their mouth closed until they have - they sometimes hold the damn thing in their mouths and spit out! Good luck.
4. Take new pill from foil wrap, cradle cat in left arm holding rear
paws tightly with left hand. Force jaws open and push pill to back of mouth with right forefinger. Hold mouth shut for a count of 10.
5. Retrieve pill from goldfish bowl and cat from top of wardrobe.

I have a spyware on my laptop call Alpha internet security and i don't know how to get rid of it. I researched it on the internet and it is a spyware. It claims that it can detect internet viruses and spyware. But the problem is it is the spyware. It is apparently hard to get rid of as it can hide in files. It is also interfering in my internet claiming certain sites carry risks. But when i run my Norton internet security nothing comes up. What should i do?My laptop in infected with spyware any advice that might help?
spyware/malware is hard to be found and unistall by the common antivirus software,so i recommend you install a anti-spyware software, but not the common anti-virus software
i have used SpyNoMore,it can detect and remove all stealth keylogger

run a free application called process explorer this will highlight the malware process in red - kills the process and then download a free app such as malwarebytes or spybot search and destroy run this to then get rid of it.
but like all this type of malware you need to kill the process first or it disables just about everything that could get rid of it

How and where do I find a good agent....I want to break into the music/acting business! Please advice or help!?
You don't find the agent, they find you. Anyways, that's what happened to my friend and she told me all about it. You're gonna have to pay $1000 to get that agent even if they come to you. Just hang out at malls more often because scouters are always there on the lookout. If you look interesting, they're gonna talk to you, but some advice: not all people that say they are scouters are ';scouters'; they are gonna scam you for your money. So make sure if you ever get one, that they work for a big company you know and trust and they have to have proof. You can also go to free auditions.
Hope I helped.

Where can I get help and advice in starting a small furniture factory?
I would like to make furniture from tropical hardwoods in Nicaragua, Central America.Where can I get help and advice in starting a small furniture factory?
So much about industrial development is based on where you are located. If you were in the US, especially New York State or Pennsylvania, I'd have some idea about where you would go for information. In the US, check your state's website for the department(s) which deal with economic development. That would be a starter. The Small Business Administration sometimes has help. SCORE--the Service Corps of Retired Executives might help as well.

For such a cimplicated diet, call your doctor and ask for a referral to a Registered Dietitian (R.D.) Your local large clinic or hospital should have one that can see you as an outpatient. They can break all this down for you in simple,easy-to-understand and easy-to-follow steps. And you'll enjoy the visit.
Otherwise, a diabetic diet should be inherently low cholesterol and low fat, IF you're dong it right.I need help/advice with a special diet...(low cholesterol, low vitamin K, and diabetic)?

send the hubby away for a weekend if hes the horder and toss all the crap, it feels good once its done. seriously are you ever gonna use that tread master from 1990 ect. if its you whos the squirrel go away for a weekend get the hubby and kids to have a garage sale clean out. be ruthless cause the crap has to go. recycle ect but some just has to be tossed. belive me
if it hasnt been used in a year or 2 get rid of it. never mind what it ';might come in handy for'; cause the likley hood is zip. gotta be cruel to be kind. dont be disposaphobic
I, too, have tons of junk all over. What I've been doing is actually just CHUCKING IT. Here is a way to gradually break away from your clutter. First, start a pile in a corner, of stuff that you know you have not used in the past 6 months. You know you are not going to use in the next 6 months. Then take a box or trash bag, close your eyes....and chuck it all. Don't think twice, and don't look back. TRUST ME, you will not miss a thing!
if u live in the uk...try http://www.free2collect.co.uk
it is easy to get rid of your stuff on this site...go for it...
Same thing here I never thought it a problem, my Father grew-up through the depression of the thirties and his parents saved everything even the wax paper around butter cubes.
I still have Things my Father saved thinking there will be a use and if you don't know what throw it out and after a while you will find a use and slap your forehead remembering you threw it out, I still have a curled yellowed newspaper clipping on my kitchen wall titled How to unclutter your life'; someone read this and gave it to me I read it once and they put it on the wall in the kitchen to remind me,,,,,,,,,,,Didn't work,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Hope I got you to smile a little about it, your not alone.
any clothes you havnt worn for a year-BIN or charity shop
same thing for any kitchen gadget
if you really cant part with stuff fit some high level storage cupboards.
Call Dr. Phil,He might be able to help you with your mental problem
With kids toys I have a policy that if it breaks it goes straight in the bin - encourages them to take care of their toys!
With socks and small suitable fabrics, if it gets a hole it goes under the sink for a floor cloth- single use, and throw away.
For decluttering the best time is the 2 weeks from full moon to new moon, as the moon wanes, so does the clutter.
Sunday is my sewing and mending day. My best 'mend' was fixing the immersion heater using a part from the broken one I saved up in the attic, saving a whopping £60.
Bet you're a Pisces too!
Join a group like freecycle.org...you can give stuff away through them. If you feel like it's not being wasted and someone else can use it (and maybe FIX it!), you'll feel better about getting rid of it. Just don't take on too much stuff from others on the site!
First, consider speaking to a therapist or looking for self-help online (Squalor Survivors or Flylady--or both--are good places to start). Hoarding or problems throwing things away is sometimes seen as related to OCD or other mental issues. You aren't alone though.
Second, resolve that you will get your home decluttered. Make a letter to yourself convincing yourself of why you need to learn to let go of garbage. Cleaning is easier without having to deal with clutter. You are losing use of things like tables, closets, or even whole rooms of your home. Real useful things are getting destroyed from neglect because of your clutter. Any reason.
Then get to work. If you went to Flylady or Squalor Survivors, you will learn about methods other people just like you have used. Start small if you have to. If you can't work for 15 minutes at a time removing things, work for one minute at a time. If you can't do 1 minute, do 30 seconds.
How you proceed largely depends on your situattion. Good luck. There's support out there if you look for it.
Ok I have been going though the same thing.
1. Make a rule if you bring one thing in two things must go out
2. Have you used it in one year if Not toss give away or throw. You will not use it.
3. Freecycle.Org is great you just post it and some one comes and gets it. Within 24 hrs that way you’re not temped to take it back. Or you can sell it on eBay a little way of recouping your money
4. News papers or magazines just clip what you wanted out of them put into a note book and throw the rest.
5. Make 3 boxes one that says give one throw and one keep using the one year rule
6. Join a group like this one they helped me loads http://groups.msn.com/DomesticatedBliss tell them Diane recommend you
They take one room for 2 weeks and de-clutter it and post there pictures there.
7. Have a yard sale
8. Donate you get a slip for taxes
9. Take one room at a time going though it.
10 If you don’t have a place for it. It doesn’t have a place in you home.
11. Think of your storage as money if you had to pay to store this item properly what would it cost you. Storage is usually at least 50 bucks a month plus.
12. Go to the dollar store and organize your stuff like paint stuff all in one basket .paints in a plastic container Buy at least one see though container a week to help you organize.
13 think of yourselves as a little old lady or man and if you died tomorrow would you be mortified to be having people clean up your mess you left behind. I often think of my poor son getting stuck with cleaning my mess up. Or being reported to adult protective service because I wasn’t safe to get around my home. I made a rule I have to be able to get around in a wheel chair in my home. I work in home health and you should see some of the awful messes we clean up and that family has to do at death costing the family thousands of dollars to do each year.
I have a lady we work with that literally has only one small path in her house. She asked me to help her. I told her she has to fill one trash can a week with trash and one recyclable with her paper trash while she watching TV, sort though the crap until it got down.
I am currently moving and if something is broken its getting toss I have found over the years it just isn’t worth storing over one year.
Think of your storage crap as rocks around your neck weighing you down .are you the master or is your stuff.
Now get cracking and get that trash can full.
Diane
If you don't use something for a year, you probably don't need it. Don't be a hogger. Give it away, sell it on EBay, or organize into themed boxes.
make your self some cash for christmas and do a car boot,
theres no easy way you just have to be very strict woith yourself not to collect and save stuff that you never really use.Guess if its been stored for 6 months or more you wont ever need it anyway
well u code give it all to me i`m the same as u
everything you do not use,
you have no need for,
give it to charity.
its a win-win situation..you are rid of what you call clutter, and someone else is prolly helped with it.
recognising your problem has shown you are ready to proceed.
for other clutter-bugs here is a method for clearing old crap lying around.
get 3 boxes and go through each room at a time sorting into
recycle
give away
keep
ok you have it sorted out. now call the charity and recycling companies and set a date for them to come pick it up! and don't back out! your best bet is to take everything out of the room, then put things back and everything that doesn't look right you can fix it and sell it or donate it. you should also set a date for a yard sale!
Do you have kids? Offer them an allowance or a treat for heping you sort through a few boxes and make it fun for everyone. Also, don't have a tv on because it is distracting, but a CD that you know all the words to the songs is always good to have on while you work. As far as being a pak rat, I am too. You'll have to part with some things. Make it enjoyable. Remeniscing through old memories or whatnot. Hope this helps.
I do the very same thing, too. I get things that I just know I'm going to do something with, and then years later I realize that whatever it was that I thought I was going to do is now something that I don't need or want to do any longer....or even that I now know that I'm not ever going to get around to because I have too many other projects and I just know that I'll never get back to it.
I had a ';craft'; room literally full of boxes and trash bags full of stuff, it was only halfway organized according to what type of project it was. I decided I was going to get it under control and this is what I did.
I purchased an armoire and storage/organizing containers that complimented each other and would look nice and fit into the room. Then I emptied the entire room by going through each box and bag and making a decision about each and every item. I knew that whatever I kept had to be able to fit into an organized container or storage type piece of furniture (such as an armoire). Everything else I put into my truck to take to charity. I neatly put everything back into the room and now I'm telling myself that I have plenty of projects to do, and I don't acquire any new items or projects until I've finished one I already had on hand.
Remember, with the correct recipe, absolutely everything is edible. No exceptions.
You are mentally challenged, get some help from a professional or find a support group.
I just can't understand people like you, why are you so helpless when it comes to mundane things like you are talking about.
Why don't you box everything up and send it to a third world country, after all, one man's junk is another man's treasure.
If something brakes i'll have a go at fixing it + often succeed.
From dishwashers to mobile phones, socks to coats.
I have alot of things waiting to be fixed.I dont like waste+ tend to save junk which i think i could make use of(maybe 1day).
I realise this is a problem,as i am tripping over bags+boxes of stuff that needs sorting out.I have some things ready for charity+ recycling. But i'd be greatful for any advice.Help and advice for de-cluttering my home?
Fire works, just insure everything first and stand clear... JokeHelp and advice for de-cluttering my home?

Anybody need some writing advice or help?
I was wondering if anybody would like some writing help or advice. I would be up to it! Send me your stories and i will edit, revise, read, comment, and help you if you need anything. I swear that i will not take any ideas or steal your story. Why would i do that when im working on my own book with my own words and ideas? Thanks so much!Anybody need some writing advice or help?
hi. i like to write, but im not very good, anyway, could you basically help me with just getting started, then ill take it from there, plz and thankyouAnybody need some writing advice or help?
You should have started with editing your own question my dear. When you use ';I' it should be capitalized and that also includes ';I'm'; or ';I am';. Your first sentence is a fragment, as is your second one as well. I am not an editor by any means but I can see some flaws with your own work that make me question your ability to edit.
I don't understand the person above me. Those sentences aren't exactly fragments. But yes, I need help! Here is the link to my question(it's about the plot of my story):

What are some tips and advice to get help paying for college(besides loans)such as work study?
Be exhaustive in your search. The FAFSA will let you know for sure if you qualify for work study or loans, and the rest you'll have to find for yourself. Check to see if your school or local businesses have grants and scholarships that you can apply for.
FastWeb.com is another place that has a great listing of scholarships that you can apply for. Many require an essay, some transcripts, recommendation letters, or the like.
Best of luck! :)

Can anybody help with some advice for homeopathic remedies to help with giving up metadone and other drugs?
Please help with any advice on alternative homeopathic remedies such as ginseng, valarian etc, anything that could help someone who is gradually detoxing from serious drug addictions. I have been reunited with a family member who lives abroad and discovered he has been addicted for 30 years to heroin, and is now on 150ml methadone per day, 20 tablets of diazepam (5mg) and nitrazepam (5mg) 20 tabs per day, plus other pills for sleeping and stomach problems. He now really wants to get clean but can't do cold turkey as he could die thorugh this option aparently? He also has hepatitus b and c and has a poor liver now.
Please help, advice is much appreciated! He lives in Scandinavia and there are no centres locally. Can anybody help with some advice for homeopathic remedies to help with giving up metadone and other drugs?

My husband just got an Ipod touch and I want him to know how to get free downloads. We need help, advice?
We don't even mind paying. But I don't want to invest a whole lot. I've heard of companies that have a yearly flat rate. pay once kinda thing. Thanks for your knowledge. My husband just got an Ipod touch and I want him to know how to get free downloads. We need help, advice?
i have an ipod touch and download all my songs for free on it
what i use is limewire, i put a link to the site to download it so you can use it to get music I'm assuming that you have itunes on your computer since you have the ipod touch but if not you can just go to apple.com and download itunes software for free,
now in order to put the songs on your ipod you need to plug it into your computer and let itunes detect your ipod, once it has detected your ipod you can open up limewire software, if you look at the left side there should be a tab that says audio click on that and simply type in whatever artist you would like to search for, once the search has completed you can double click on the song to download it, make sure the songs are MP3 format because itunes will not accept any other formats for songs. Once it finishes downloading the song you can highlight the song and drag it over into the itunes library, now all you have to do is sync your ipod and the songs should be on there
i hope this helps! :]My husband just got an Ipod touch and I want him to know how to get free downloads. We need help, advice?
if you are talking about music it's easy attatch the itouch to your pc then go to youtube and look at the video tht has the music you want then go to listentoyoutube.com ( it converts to mp3 btw )

make sure it's flat on the ground. go lean it when you're playing. video game stores can fix them for you as long as they aren't too scratched. You can also try toothpaste, peanut butter, or banana.
YEAH. dude me too.
it feels like the disc drive is eating my disc
like this ';gurge gurge'; sound.
do you make you xbox stand upright?
i think if you slant it sideways it'll fix the problem.
If you have your console lieing flat the best thing to do is to stand it up. If the problem still persists, contact Microsoft and they will send you a replacement console within 6 weeks.
Hope I helped! (:
your disc tray is stuffed or lobsided moving the disc around n scratching it its best to talk to microsoft n send it for repair
yeah this happens to me alot but it never broke my discs yet.
it happened with my old xbox it broke my GHWT.
Get a PS3
send it back.
send it back

make sure it's flat on the ground. go lean it when you're playing. video game stores can fix them for you as long as they aren't too scratched.

Get a PS3
send it back.
send it back
i whould contact microsoft and have them send you a new xbox or repair it
I am taking my first singing lessons ever! Need help and advice?
I am taking singing lessons on Saturday. I have wanted to sing for a long time, but have never had the courage to do so.
I am getting really scared.
What advice can you give me so I am not so nervous? And any ideas on how to warm up my voice?I am taking my first singing lessons ever! Need help and advice?
First of all, take some nice deep breaths. This will help you to relax. Next, understand that everyone in the class is there to learn, and they are just as nervous as you are. There will be someone there who is better than you, but there will be someone there who is not as good as you in some areas, too. We all learn from each others' strengths *and* weaknesses. Drink lots of water and get plenty of rest. Your voice is affected by everything that happens to your body, so you need to take care of it. On your way to your lesson, continue to breathe and do some sighing. It will open your throat and relax your voice and your nerves. Good luck, and have fun!I am taking my first singing lessons ever! I sing and there is no reason to be nervous...all they do is give you a song and teach you how to sing it. If you worry, you'll o worse..Singing lessons are so much fun!Hope I Helped!
Remember the other students are there to learn too, so you're all in the same boat. And they are usually very supportive and helpful. Don't drink caffeine before lessons though. Good luck and have fun. : )
there is no reason for gettin nervous at all.
u have to enter d class, wish d teacher, answer whatever he/she asks n follow his instructions. that`s it.
Don't worry. If you have a good (or even an ordinary) singing teacher they will go through warm-up excersizes with you!
Your singing teacher is the person you can trust to sing badly in front of!
One little thing that a lot forget - Make sure you're hydrated. Drink enough water to keep your airways open.

Football help please! Advice on becoming a professional footballer?
I'm 28 years old. I have been playing for 6 months. I am about 5' tall and weight 140 kilos. I think I can go pro as a goal keeper. I'm also a great striker....no one can get near my feet cause of my girth.
What are some tips to help me advertise my skills to the major clubs in the big leagues - Champions league teams only please, I don't want to waste my prime years with alsorans.
Thanks!Football help please! Advice on becoming a professional footballer?
you have to work your way up. most big clubs wont sign you right off the bat. its a slow process. reserves or lower league teams is really the only way. if you believe you are that good, then spend a season in the lower leagues and the clubs will come knocking. another route is playing with A potential team that can be promoted. steve finnan, who plays for liverpool now, played on every level of the english football pyramid.

What should I expect and IF you have any advice to help please give it?
I am 25 and my husband is 30. He has no children and i have one from a prior relations ship.MY husdband and i have been married for 3 years and have been trying to consieve for 2 of those. A year ago we found out that he has a Low sperm count of around 35 million.....(didn't really sound to low to me but.. that is what the doc said). I am fine everything with me checked out fine. What do we need to do to concieve and what should i expect when i go back to the DR. as for as test and treatment....PLease? HELP!!!!!What should I expect and IF you have any advice to help please give it?
Men should be tested again 3 months after the first test. Sometimes sickness and other factors can cause a decrease in count and testing 3 months later will show if that is the case. What should I expect and IF you have any advice to help please give it?
Don';t worry!!!It will only make things take longer.Just say to hell with it, don't worry about getting preggie! It will happen, just not when your stressed and more than likely if your stressed about this so is the hubby! And since his count is low, stress is defiantly not helping him!If your able to, plan a nice quiet weekend away for just you and your hubby the next time your ';ripe for the picking';!Send that time falling in love all over again, don't talk about kids!Just enjoy each other to the ';fullest'; and what comes of it will come! Good Luck Hun, Hope this helps!
It took me almost 3 years to concieve my son, and i went to see a doctor and was told that when my hubby ejaculated, to put a couple of pillows under me and put my lower body up in the air. This supposedly helps the sperm to get where they need to go....it worked for me, I concieved my son withing 3 weeks of doing that. He also has a low sperm count. I recently had a baby girl and we used this method after trying for 6 mths and she was made right away.
i was the same way...get a job at cracker barrel...lol! just kidding, we tried for 4 years, 2 months after i started working at cracker barrel, i got pregnant...and havent stoped since, iv been thier for 4 years, and am on my third pregnancy since! my point is, when you stop focusing on it...it will happen, it only takes one sperm to do the trick...
if you orgasm when he does, it makes it easier for the sperm to get where they need to be, but that is easier said than done...let it happen...it will
