Please someone can help advice me on how to validate my Window XP free without reinstalling windows XP?

My pc can't bouth properlly because of a Window X icon that normally display on the screen now, how can i get a free validation without reinstaling Window XP?when i try to install windows media player 11 ,a message appears saying that ';validation failed so cannot install please i ned a help.Please someone can help advice me on how to validate my Window XP free without reinstalling windows XP?

The Validiaotn tool normally only fail's if your running a pirated copy of windows, or sometims the validaitons servers are down, so try agina if it fials agian then your gettign a false positive and will need to contact microsoft for them to manually check out your copy of xp.


however if you are runnign a pirated copy, don't contact microsoft, youll have to use a diffrent media player instead.
