I need help, advice, and opinoins about a small business.?

I am really interested in opening a clothing store. i am in texas. I have no idea where to start. what do i need? I would like it to be a little shop that sells juniors clothing, accessories, heels, candy, sunglasses and purses. can someone please give me some guidance on what you think i would need, and what the cost may be to start it and get it up an running. I think you are over your head, but here are some thoughts. The only reason to start a business is if you think you can do whatever it is, better than what is now offered. Just wanting to be a store owner is not enough. You can get help through a bank of retired business people, but you need to do some leg work here. Location - the better the exposure the higher the price - so call around and check. Once you sign a lease you are responsible for the whole term. What fashions do you think will sell? Contact the manufactures to see how to buy from them. I'm hoping that you have experience in retail sales - if that is what you are doing now, start talking to the vendors - make contacts etc. You might want to work in that field to get an idea of what is involved. Displays, cabinets, racks - find a business that has folded and see what is for sale. Large sack of cash and a business plan. Good luck.
