I have to write as person in the time of world war 1(1910-1920) having trouble with a problem then i have to write them back advice. I was thinking a soldier in love but seems to be losing his love every day in the war. I dont know though. Any suggestions?Need help writing an advice colum as if I were in the time of world war 1. Any Suggestions?
You could advise him not to worry about getting a Dear John letter because according to wikipedia they were not invented until WWII. For the soldiers on the front in the trenches the war was one of the worst situations a person could ever find themselves in. Supposing you COULD give them advice, love or otherwise, I think it should be reassuring! They were feeling bad enough about everything else without having to worry about problems on the home front.Need help writing an advice colum as if I were in the time of world war 1. Any Suggestions?
Well, would a soldier in action have time for reading the collumn? Of course, it could be a soldier in a base, but then, couldn't he be with his love? It doesn't seem so realistic.
If you were to do something, then you should be on the otehr side, having the girl come to you about not being able to be with her love who's off in war.
Remember, there were a lot of 'handy man' woman around, so they got more opportunities (think 'Woman's Baseball'); but only because the jobs that needed to be filled in had little male takers, since they were off at war.
